I’m using FileZilla now, but I can install something else that you recommend. And I don’t know a lot about networking so make it easy to understand.

Also, if I did this, would it be faster than transferring via flash drive? The file is over 2 gigs.

filezilla is ok..but if you want to use ftp you need to install ftp server/client application…transfering via flash drive would take you additional time because you need to save it there then insert to other computer then copy…even the simple file sharing will do…share the folder where the files you want to copy are saved then access that computer with other computer where you want to copy the file then copy the files..good luck..jexter@eastern—.ph

  1. I am sure you’ve already tried the file transfer across LAN.

Well, for FTP you may use Xlight FTP. –//—.xlightftpd—/
    It is very light-weight tool.

    Good Luck !
